Eligible Disney Employees must obtain a reservation for theme park entry in advance. However, for Walt Disney World® Resort, select good-to-go dates may not require a park reservation.

To enter a theme park with your complimentary admission type, both a park reservation* for the particular theme park and day and are required, however, for Walt Disney World® Resort, select good-to-go dates may not require a park reservation (except for Disneyland® Paris where one single reservation is valid for both Disneyland® Park and Walt Disney Studios® Park). The complimentary admission type that was used to make the theme park reservation must be used for park entry. Theme park reservations and admission are not guaranteed.

How to Redeem Main Entrance Pass privileges

At the Disneyland® Resort in California:

Retirees may use their Company-issued ID for complimentary standard parking. (Spouse/domestic partners may use their Spouse/Domestic Partner Pass and a valid government-issued photo ID to receive complimentary standard parking.) Complimentary parking is subject to availability.

  • Go to a Disneyland® Resort Theme Park main entrance and present your Main Entrance Pass along with your Company-issued ID at any turnstile. (Spouses and domestic partners must present their Spouse/Domestic Partner Pass along with a valid government-issued photo ID.)
  • Identify the number of Guests in your party. A readmission ticket for entry that day only will be given to you and up to the number of Guests indicated on your pass. Guests entering the parks with all ticket types, including Main Entrance Passes, will have their photo taken upon entry. Every ticket will have a Guest photo associated with it for park exit and reentry.

At the Walt Disney World® Resort Theme Park:

  • Retirees may use their Company-issued ID for complimentary standard parking.(Spouse/domestic partners may use their Spouse/Domestic Partner Pass and a valid government-issued photo ID to receive complimentary standard parking). Complimentary parking is subject to availability.
  • Go to any Walt Disney World® Resort Theme Park main entrance touch point.
  • Give a reusable Guest Pass to each member of your party just before entering the parks.
  • Pass holder: Enter first by touching your Main Entrance Pass to the main entrance touch point.
  • Guests: Have them enter immediately behind you, each touching their Guest Pass to the main entrance touch point.
  • To reenter: Touch your Main Entrance Pass and Guest Passes to any main entrance touch point. You do not need to use the same touch point or enter in any particular order.
  • At the end of the visit, collect the Guest Passes from each member of your party and keep them for future use.

At Disney Resort ParisHong Kong Disneyland Park and Shanghai Disneyland Park:

  • For entry into theme parks at Disneyland Paris: Prior to theme park entry, present your Main Entrance Pass at a Guest Relations window, along with your valid Company-issued ID. Identify the number of Guests in your party. A readmission ticket for entry that day only will be given to you and up to the number of Guests indicated on your pass. A handstamp or Guest photo or ticket tag confirmation may be required for re-entry, inquire before exiting.
  • For entry into theme parks at Hong Kong Disneyland and Shanghai Disneyland: Go to a Hong Kong Disneyland or Shanghai Disneyland Theme Park Main Entrance turnstile. Present your Main Entrance Pass, along with your Company-issued ID. Identify the number of Guests in your party. An admission ticket for entry that day only (and reentry, with valid hand stamp) will be given to you and up to the number of Guests indicated on your pass. Your photos will be taken at the turnstiles of Shanghai Disneyland Park.

  • Main Entrance Pass privileges are subject to Company designated block-out dates.  Block-out dates may change at any time, and Passholders are responsible for checking updated information prior to their Disney Theme Park visit. For a current listing of block-out dates, please visit blockoutdates.disney.com.
  • Main Entrance Pass privileges may not be purchased, sold, bartered, or exchanged for anything of value, including, but not limited to: cash, gift cards, meals, other theme park tickets, or gas. Solicitation to engage in such activities is also prohibited.is also prohibited. Violations of Main Entrance Pass usage guidelines may result in loss of the privilege.
  • The Main Entrance Pass privilege allows eligible Retirees or their eligible spouse/domestic partners to admit up to three (3) Guests into eligible theme parks. All Guests must be admitted at the same time.
  • Main Entrance Passes may only be used once per day for Guest admission. Passholders and their Guest(s) will be issued readmission tickets, if applicable. Passholders visiting the Walt Disney World® Resort will utilize their reusable Guest Passes for Guest re-entry on the same day.
  • Main Entrance Pass 16 Admit (Blue) allows the Retiree and their eligible spouse/domestic partner to a combined maximum of 16 days of admission to eligible Disney Theme Parks annually, January 1 through December 31. Your Main Entrance Pass is not valid at Tokyo Disney Resort or for admission to any Water Park.
  • The spouse/domestic partner may use their Spouse/Domestic Partner Pass to admit Guest(s) into the park with or without the presence of the Retiree. Spouse/Domestic Partner Pass usage counts towards the annual Main Entrance Pass usage. The Retiree may self-admit into an eligible Disney Theme Park on the same day that the spouse/domestic partner enters with Guest(s). However, the spouse/domestic partner may not self-admit into an eligible Disney Theme Park after the Retiree has already entered the park with Guest(s).
  • After the initial entry into an eligible Disney Theme Park, the following Guest(s) who are family members of the Retiree or the Retiree’s spouse/domestic partner and are at least 14 years of age are able to enjoy the parks unaccompanied by the Retiree or the Retiree’s spouse/domestic partner (expanded list effective as of January 1, 2015):
    • Children** and children-in-law
    • Parents and legal guardians
    • Parents-in-law
    • Siblings and siblings-in-law
    • Grandparents and grandchildren
    • Aunts and uncles
    • Nieces and nephews
    • First cousins

*including step, adopted, foster or temporary custody children
**Guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a Guest aged 16 or older to enter the theme parks at Hong Kong Disneyland and Shanghai Disneyland

  • Passholders MUST accompany all Guest(s) not listed above throughout their ENTIRE visit, unless the Guest(s) are accompanied by a Family Member.
  • Do not ask other Passholders to use their pass to help you admit Guests or do not use your pass to help other Passholders admit Guests.
  • Main Entrance Passes are NONTRANSFERABLE. It is a privilege extended only to the person whose name appears on the Pass. Passholders must be prepared to show their valid Company-issued ID when utilizing their Main Entrance Pass. Spouse/domestic partners must be prepared to show valid government-issued photo ID when utilizing a Main Entrance Pass.
  • Retirees may use their Company-issued ID for complimentary standard parking at U.S. based theme parks for their vehicle. Passholders may not, under any circumstances, give their Main Entrance Pass or Spouse/Domestic Partner Pass to their Guest(s). Passholders and their Guests are NOT permitted to meet each other at Walt Disney World® main entrance auto plaza locations.
  • Complimentary parking is subject to availability.
  • The Company-issued ID does not permit access to backstage locations.
  • If you have lost your Main Entrance Pass and/or Guest Passes you can request a replacement at www.disneyurl.com/mep.
